I am here, and I am as strange as you

Quote by Frida Kahlo. This was in one of the cover page of a moleskin notebook I bought back in 2022 from a corner stationary story at Stafford street in Edinburgh. I used the notebook to write my thoughts for the last chapters and compilation of my PhD thesis.

I have read this quote over and over again. I decipher the quote as a definition of a confident identity.

Collage with my handwriting and fragment of the notebook

There are people who break some form of rules to get out in the world, to put their footprint or most importantly to truly understand who they are at the core of heart.

I travelled, worked, ate, studied, walked, ran, danced, sang etc. I met different versions of myself. I still do not know who I am truly, but I have looked back my old journals and found some art pieces that may define at least one percent of who I am today.
